Hummingbirds can fly very fast, but they can also stop and hover in mid-air.  Like the hummer, our lives move very fast.  We seem to be on the go from the moment we get up until we finally return to our beds at night.  We need to learn to stop, take a breath and spend a little time with God – giving thanks and focusing our attention on what God wants for our lives by listening for his guiding voice.
