Indigo Buntings spend the spring and summer in the eastern half of the United States.  When the weather turns cold, they leave for the warmer weather of Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.  They migrate at night, using the stars to guide them. It’s amazing to think that the same hands that created beautiful little Indigo Buntings placed the stars in the sky to guide them!
