     These marsupials really do “play possum” – mimicking the appearance and smell of a dead animal.  This is an automatic, involuntary response to danger. 
     When something happens that disrupts our lives and our expectations for the future, we may also be frozen by fear.  But God does not want us to live in fear.  He is always with us to give us strength and courage to face difficult times.
