A hummingbird’s brilliant colors come from the iridescent quality of its feathers, not from pigmentation. The special design of its feathers means light is refracted like a prism. The colors we see depend on our viewing angle and the intensity and direction of the light.  Just as sunlight brings out a hummer’s true colors, Jesus’ light reveals the true “colors” of our hearts.
